Build

The site is a static HTML build, generated by Astro from a flat tree of Markdown and component files. There is no client-side framework on the public surfaces. The content lives in version control and can be read as files independently of the build tool.

Hosting

The site is served as static files from a content-delivery network. A read-only mirror of the source is published publicly for independent verification of the document record.

Permanence

The site is built for a generational horizon. The choice of static HTML over a flat Markdown tree is intentional: any future maintainer or archivist should be able to read the site as files in 2046 without the original build pipeline.

Cited artefact

The lineage block on the home page references Johannes Vermeer, Woman Holding a Balance, c. 1664, oil on canvas, 42.5 × 38 cm, National Gallery of Art, Washington (accession 1236), Open Access programme. The image is in the public domain.

Source

The site source is published openly. The repository URL will be added when the public mirror is established.
