Conformance target
This site targets conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. The institution treats accessibility as a discipline of plain-language record-keeping; a record that cannot be read is not a record.
What is honoured
- Reduced motion: the home-page title's metallic sheen animation is disabled when the visitor has set
prefers-reduced-motion. - Contrast: body and headline text exceed AA contrast thresholds against the dark background. Hairlines and decorative elements may not.
- Keyboard navigation: all interactive elements are reachable via keyboard.
- Semantic HTML: headings, lists, and landmark elements are structured so the page is legible to screen readers.
- Alt text: images carry descriptive alt text; the Vermeer plate on the home page is described in full.
Reporting an issue
Accessibility issues may be reported to office@au-svrn.com with subject line [ACCESSIBILITY]. The institution targets a five-business-day acknowledgement.
